BUILT BY A FARMER WHO’D HAD ENOUGH
Back in the mid-1990s, founder Peter was expanding the stock water troughs on his own farm, high in Victoria’s Strzelecki Ranges — and getting nowhere fast. Every valve on the market struggled to keep up, and talking to other farmers, he realised he wasn’t alone. So he designed his own: the first fully stainless steel float valve of its kind. That prototype became the Cocky Valve. Decades of continuous innovation later — including patents across Australia, NZ, Europe, Canada and the Americas for the Ulti Flo range — it’s now trusted on farms across the country and overseas, with tens of thousands sold and not a single reported break.
