AVG Tempering Valve High-Performance with Insulation Lead Free (Orange Cap)

The AVG Tempering Valve High-Performance C/W Insulation Lead Free is a thermostatic tempering valve designed to blend hot and cold water to a controlled mixed outlet temperature for domestic and commercial hot water plumbing systems. The high-performance orange cap version is designed for modern hot water systems including solar and continuous flow heaters, while still being suitable for standard storage hot water systems. The valve body is manufactured from forged DR bronze and incorporates upgraded high temperature internal components to handle hotter supply conditions. Internal flow directors and a compact thermostatic probe help maintain smooth, stable mixed water delivery even when supply pressures fluctuate. Integral non return valves and 60 mesh stainless steel inlet strainers are built into the valve body to help prevent debris entering the valve and to reduce the risk of backflow affecting performance. Advanced polymer components improve resistance to calcium build up in hard water environments. For installation and commissioning on site, the valve includes a tamper resistant cap with the adjustment tool moulded into the cap. This allows the installer to easily set the outlet temperature without additional tools while preventing accidental adjustment once commissioned.
