Jobe Topaz Float Valve

The Jobe Topaz Float Valve is designed for applications requiring higher flow rates and reliable automatic water-level control. Unlike smaller low-flow valves, the Topaz uses a pilot-operated diaphragm system, where the float controls a pilot valve that in turn activates the main valve. This design allows for strong flow performance while maintaining smooth and controlled shut-off.

The Topaz is a high-flow, compact, and robust trough valve suitable for demanding environments. It is commonly used in animal drinking troughs, water storage tanks, cisterns, irrigation systems, and industrial water applications where consistent refill and durability are important.

This product is available in 20mm (3/4″), 25mm (1″) and 32mm (1 1/4″) inlet sizes. Across these sizes, the valve operates within a pressure range of 0.3 to 7 bar (5 to 100 psi) and can handle water temperatures up to 60°C, making it suitable for a wide range of rural, commercial, and industrial water systems.

The Topaz is built from corrosion-resistant materials, including glass-filled nylon, stainless steel components, and durable elastomers, helping it perform reliably in harsh outdoor and agricultural environments. Its design also allows for horizontal or vertical installation, with adjustable float positioning and multiple mounting configurations to suit different tank and trough setups.

A key advantage of the Topaz is its slow-closing action, which helps minimise water hammer and protects your plumbing system. Combined with its high flow capability and compact body, it is a strong choice when you need efficient refill rates without moving to large, bulkier valve assemblies.
