The Sioux Chief Hydra-Rester Boxed effectively absorbs water hammer shock in plumbing systems, preventing pipe damage and noise. Constructed with a seamless Type L copper body, the Hydra-Rester features a piston with EPDM O-rings and a lubricated silicone compound that compresses air to dissipate pressure waves. This arrestor is simple to install with a BSP male thread, suitable for domestic, commercial, or industrial environments.
Compliance and Standards: Certified to AS/NZS 3500.1, WaterMark approved (AS 5200.007, WM-020003), ensuring reliability and safety in all installations. It operates at a maximum temperature of 90°C and can handle pressures up to 1500 kPa, with a safe working pressure of up to 2300 kPa.
