Constructed from ductile iron with a blue epoxy (FBE) coating, this valve’s body is robust and designed to withstand the rigours of industrial use. Its EPDM seat and 316 stainless steel disk are engineered for durability and resistance against wear, enhancing the valve’s lifespan and reliability.

Functional Design

The valve features a lugged body with threaded metric drilled bolt holes, suitable for various installation environments. It incorporates a lever operation mechanism that allows quick and easy water flow control, turning at a quarter turn with a notch plate and position locks for secure settings.

With its pinless square drive 420 stainless steel stem, the valve operates under lower torque, ensuring smooth functionality and reducing the risk of liner wear. The precision-machined CF8M stainless steel disc aligns perfectly with the EPDM seat to optimise flow and minimise leakage.

Specifications

Designed for general water applications, the valve operates efficiently within a temperature range of -15°C to 110°C and can handle pressures up to 16 BAR (1600 KPA). Available in sizes from 50mm (2”) to 300mm (12”), it meets the needs of a wide range of industrial and municipal applications. For drilling it meets AS2129 Table E.
